Business owners often make the mistake of believing that branding is simply about logo design — but your brand is about how you connect. In order to truly get to the heart of your venture, I’ve designed an in-depth Brand Workshop. Together we identify your business goals, values, design style, and more. In this initial phase, we dig deep into the message you want to share with your ideal audience, and then design and develop the visual elements to communicate it well.
The Brand Workshop is a tool that provides us with a comprehensive understanding of your brand. We will also comb through any collected visual inspiration. My process is collaborative and I encourage you to begin to notice thoughtful design all around you and share with me what sparks something in you.

With every action you take, you plant a seed of thoughts, feelings, perceptions, and images in the minds of customers that become linked to your brand. Building a brand goes far beyond the quality of your products and a curated aesthetic - your brand is the relationship you build with your audience. We pivot the design process to be consistently thoughtful of your ideal audience through every fiber of the brand.
We must determine exactly who your ideal audience is. This persona will be defined in-depth - we will define what they desire, what are their pain points, and how your brand will impact their everyday life. We clearly develop what we call the “muse” of your brand so that all of the design elements flow from this point of reference. The design strategy becomes about matching your muse’s expectations and meeting their needs.

We employ you to dream big and cast a broad vision for your brand and what you aim to achieve. Your brand strategy must be driven by a goal - something you’re reaching towards - whether that be a financial goal, a lifestyle goal, or a goal to change the world for the better.
The root of the strategy comes from the big question - Why did you create this brand? Is it to raise awareness of your business? Gain more clients? Do you want to use it as a platform to build a community? Establish yourself as an expert in your industry? You should always be aware of what your goals are — both in the short and long term — so that you can make well-informed decisions about your brand as you move forward.
At the end of this phase, we will have laid the groundwork for your brand strategy. I now have a clear roadmap to build solution-driven visuals to tell that story.

All of the strategy groundwork is what ultimately produces successful brand identities. In this phase, Lauren will build and present three unique and comprehensive design solutions that are strategically rooted. Each solution includes a primary logo, submark, mood board, color palette, type treatment and hierarchy, branded collateral, and implementation into applicable mockups. These mockups often include a website, business card, signage, packaging, and specific brand touchpoints. Every business will have unique needs when it comes to touchpoints, creating a selection of mockups that directly correlate to your business.

A “Brand Arsenal” is created for you which includes the web and print-ready design files. The arsenal’s main event is the Brand Guide, which defines your unique brand standards. These are a set of guidelines for the logo usage, colors, photography, type treatment, and messaging that make up your brand. You’ll have all you need to debut your new brand.
You will then be fully equipped with a brand identity. Whether you’re trying a new marketing campaign, creating a new piece of content, or targeting a new client - you can assess:
Is this going to get me closer to hitting my goal?
Does it fulfill the needs of my ideal audience?
Is it in line with my brand values, purpose, and personality?
